What

As part of Geneva Peace Week 2022 Interpeace hosted a high-level panel discussion and workshop to bring together different actors to share best practices, challenges and lessons learned on the topic of Peace Responsiveness.

In the panel discussion moderated by Anita Ernstorfer, the panelists Julius Jackson (FAO), Kevin Ousman (WHO), Nieves Thomet (ILO), Cecilia Sanchez-Bodas (UNICEF) shared their perspectives and experience with integrating peace responsiveness in their organizations. Afterwards it was the workshop attendees’ turn to share challenges and solution ideas related to peace responsiveness in their work context.

How

I supported the event with a live Visual Harvest summarizing the core messages from the workshop on a large piece of paper. We choose a 2-step process, of gathering content live, then validating and completing the messages with the Interpeace team, before finalizing the visual.

Outcomes

Pictures of the creation process and the visual have been used for social media communication during the event. Furthermore the visual has been shared as a follow-up with workshop participants. The original poster stays visibly displayed at Interpeace, reminding of the event’s core themes and brining a creative element to the office.
